2026 Prep Enrolments
To be eligible for Prep in 2026 children must be born between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021.
Open Morning
Our annual Open Morning is usuall held early in June - date to be confirmed.
In Catchment Families
Families living within our School Catchment Zone, check the EQ Catchment Map, will be guaranteed an offer of Prep enrolment. In order to predict enrolment numbers for 2026 we ask that In Catchment families, and those with younger siblings, complete a Student Enrolment Application Form (attached below) so we can allocate a place for your child. This form can be submitted to our office at any time during the year (in person or emailing to enrolments@ashgrovess.eq.edu.au).
Lodging the enrolment form as early as possible is preferable to assist with planning.

Sibling Enrolments
Younger siblings of children currently enrolled at Ashgrove State School will also be offered a Prep placement. If residing Out of Catchment the older sibling must remain enrolled at Ashgrove SS in 2026 (the first year in which the new prep student commences school). If no older siblings will remain at Ashgrove SS you will need to add your prep child's details to our OOC Waitlist.
Out of Catchment - 2026 Prep Enrolments
Out of Catchment (OOC) enrolments for Prep 2026 will open at 8am on Monday 3 March 2025. The electronic waitlist submissions are hosted on the SOBS website. Copy/paste the URL below to pre-fill an enrolment form and save it in preparation for submission on 3 March.

The application process will be finalised when you electronically SUBMIT the Student Enrolment Application Form, via the SOBS website, on Monday 3 March 2025 from 8:00am. Once submitted you will receive an email with a Waitlist Number as validation of your position on the Out of Catchment Waitlist. The SOBS system will auto-generate the waitlist number based on your submission time when the website link becomes active.
During Term 3 & 4, if we have prep vacancies after enrolling In-Catchment students and Siblings, we will contact parents based on their position on our Waitlist.
