2027 Prep Enrolments
To be eligible for Prep in 2027 children must be born between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2022.
Open Morning
Our annual Open Morning is usually held late May/early June. Date for 2026 to be confirmed.
In Catchment Families Only
Families living within our School Catchment Zone, check the EQ Catchment Map, will be guaranteed an offer of Prep enrolment. In order to predict enrolment numbers for 2027 we ask that In Catchment families, and those with younger siblings, complete a Student Enrolment Application Form (attached below) so we can allocate a place for your child. This form can be submitted to our office at any time during the year (in person or emailing to enrolments@ashgrovess.eq.edu.au).
Lodging the enrolment form in Term 1 is preferable to assist with planning.

Sibling Enrolments Only
Younger siblings of children currently enrolled at Ashgrove State School will also be offered a Prep placement. If residing Out of Catchment the older sibling must remain enrolled at Ashgrove SS in 2027 (the first year in which the new prep student commences school). In this situation please complete the Student Enrolment Application above.
If no older siblings will remain at Ashgrove SS in 2027, you will need to add your prep child's details to our OOC Waitlist - see info below.
Out of Catchment - 2027 Prep Enrolments - Waitlist Opens 2 March 2026
Out of Catchment (OOC) enrolments for Prep 2027 will open at 8am on Monday 2 March 2026. The electronic waitlist submissions are hosted on the SOBS website. Copy/paste the URL below to pre-fill an enrolment form and save it in preparation for submission on 2 March. Do not submit any enrolment forms prior to this date.

SUBMIT the Student Enrolment Application Form, via the SOBS website, on Monday 2 March 2026. Once submitted you will receive an email with a
Waitlist Number as validation of your position on the Out of Catchment Waitlist. Your Waitlist number is auto-generated based on your submission time.
During Term 3 & 4, if we have prep vacancies after enrolling In-Catchment students and Siblings, we will contact parents based on their position on our Waitlist.
