Ashgrove State School provides varied opportunities for our students to make outdoor learning curriculum connections. Students in the upper year levels are involved in our school camping program. The objectives of school camps are to provide opportunity to develop leadership skills, to experience guided, integrated learning across the curriculum in natural environments and provide opportunity for social and emotional development. Information regarding school camp programs and costs are provided to parents well in advance of the actual camp dates.
Regularly throughout the year a range of activities or excursions are organised by classroom teachers to support and enhance the school curriculum. Parents will be asked to complete an online activity consent form for their child to participate and will be invoiced for these activities as they occur during the term.
